Shocking Video Found: Red Fort Suicide Bomber Doctor Praises “Martyrdom Attacks”

New Delhi – Indian investigators have recovered a chilling video of Dr. Umar un-Nabi, the suicide bomber who killed at least 12 people by blowing up his car near Delhi’s famous Red Fort on November 10. In the video, the 32-year-old doctor openly defends suicide bombings and calls them “martyrdom.”

The 1-minute 20-second video was found on a damaged mobile phone that police pulled out from a water body near Nabi’s family home in Koil village, Pulwama, Kashmir. Police say Nabi gave this phone to his brother Zahoor Ilahi a few weeks before the attack and told him: “If you ever hear news about me, destroy this phone.” Instead, the brother told the police about it after he was detained.

In the video, Dr. Umar un-Nabi sits alone in a room and speaks in clear English. He compares suicide attacks to dying as a martyr for religion. Security experts say such videos are often made to inspire and radicalize other young people.

This is the same man who drove a white Hyundai i20 car filled with powerful explosives into a crowded area near the Red Fort nine days ago. The huge blast killed 12 people and injured more than 40. His identity was confirmed when DNA from the blast site matched his mother’s DNA.

Police now call this group a “white-collar terror module” because almost everyone arrested so far is a highly educated doctor.

So far, three other doctors have been arrested:
– Dr. Muzammil Ganaie
– Dr. Shaheen Shahid
– Dr. Adeel Rather

Another doctor, Muzammil’s brother Dr. Muzzaffar, is believed to be hiding in Afghanistan. Police are also searching for Dr. Nissar ul-Hassan, who worked at the same university in Faridabad as Nabi.

Investigators say Dr. Umar un-Nabi was the most extreme member of the group. He strongly believed in suicide bombings. Police are trying to find out how many phones and SIM cards he was using before the attack.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) says the doctors were trying to copy the deadly 2019 Pulwama attack in Kashmir, where a suicide bomber killed 40 Indian paramilitary soldiers by ramming an explosive-loaded car into a bus.

A retired police officer from Kashmir, SP Vaid, said these kinds of videos are used by terror groups in Pakistan to brainwash young people in the Kashmir valley. “It is very alarming that educated doctors are ready to kill themselves and others,” he said. “We need community leaders, teachers, and families to talk to young people and stop them from getting radicalized.”

Another officer told Hindustan Times that in Islam, suicide and killing innocent people is strictly forbidden. That is why Nabi may have made the video – to twist religion and convince himself and others that suicide bombing is actually “martyrdom.”

Police also found that members of this doctor group bought a brand-new Maruti Brezza car just weeks before the Red Fort blast. They are checking if that car was meant for another attack.

Searches and arrests are now happening in many states. One more person, Jasir Bilal Wani, has been arrested for helping the group with drones and homemade rockets.

This is the first big suicide car bombing in Delhi in many years. It has shocked the country and raised new fears about highly educated professionals joining terror groups.

Security has been increased at all major monuments, markets, and railway stations in the capital. The government says it will take the strongest action against anyone trying to disturb peace.
